After operating The Lash Bar Boutique from Preston all of these years, I thought it was time for a change and due to some unforeseen circumstances it forced us to move along onto bigger and better things.
I was looking for a space that would hold the capacity to service clients, train students and wholesale our stock and low and behold, I found a bare shell warehouse in Thomastown.
I had looked at a few others but this one really stood out to me, it was in a prime location, and I could see the vision of what it could be turned into. In the meantime, we had to move all of the existing furniture and equipment from the Preston location into a storage unit, which was quite fun. Thankfully I had the help of my mum and Karla otherwise I don’t know how I would have managed. It was quite an emotional experience as during this time I was forced to close the business due to Covid. Nevertheless we all pushed through for the better.
After a few hiccups the lease was officially signed and we started the moving process. It began by returning to the storage unit and loading everything back into a removalist truck and taking it to our new and fresh location!
Then it was planning time! Figuring out a colour scheme, layout and style was challenging however we decided to just go with the flow and it paid off. The end result turned out to be better than I could have imagined and I felt very blessed to have had the opportunity to have amazing company with me whilst being super creative.
We have had so many compliments on the new space and really it really makes it all worth the hard work and determination that was put into the new look for The Lash Bar Boutique.
